Was looking for cafés to try out, ended up coming here and was not disappointed at all. You first place your order downstairs once you enter the café then head upstairs to look for seats as there aren’t much tables downstairs, which is probably where the name of the café came from. The atmosphere is pretty chill. There are plenty of cozy areas for you to seat, rest and enjoy your meal, and also several Instgramable corners too. It’s pretty quiet upstairs so if you’re looking for somewhere to have lunch and work, or if you’re just someone who hates busy atmospheres, this is the perfect place! We tried the ice lemon tea and matcha green tea. Ice lemon tea was quite huge for its price (RM8), but the matcha was a bit too sweet for our liking. If you’re thirsty but don’t feel like spending extra on top of your meal, they also offer free water that you can help yourself with We also ordered the Spicy Aglio Olio with Chicken, Fried Chicken Chop, and Fish n Chips for our main dish and all of them were delicious. Great taste, good portion, and reasonable price! All of them costed around RM20 with NO EXTRA TAX. Most cafés will charge an extra 10% for service and 6% for governmental tax on top of that price so this is a fresh breath of air! It’s located at a relatively quiet area compared to Jonker, and there are several parking lots on the roadside so it’s not too hard to find parking, unless maybe during weekends or peak hours. You can also park at paid parking lots nearby if you really can’t find any parking. Will definitely visit again to try out the other dishes :)

Foods were great. Service was nice. Price are average. The vibes here are pretty fun! You can eat upstairs by going up like attic stairs. Recommended place for chitchatting & catching up with friends.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) The food here is amazing! I had the Aglio Olio and it was absolutely delicious. But what I loved the most was my drink – the Mango Passion. It was super yummy, perfectly sweet, and had a strong mango flavor that I really enjoyed. The place itself is nice, though it was a bit warm, probably due to the hot weather. Hopefully, the air conditioning can be improved or the temperature adjusted for more comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you're visiting for the first time, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

The food here is superb! The pesto pasta is nice, but the prawns were not as fresh as expected. The honey mustard chicken is delicious and highly recommended. However, the seating is not very comfortable for dining in, and they don’t provide baby chairs or baby cutlery, so if you're bringing young children, be sure to prepare ahead. Additionally, avoid visiting on weekends as parking can be quite challenging. While the food is excellent, a few improvements in other areas would enhance the overall experience.

The place has that back to time atmosphere,be careful of the steps,it was a bit steep. Reminded me of my grandmother’s house. Overall loved the setting of the place,food was delicious,we finished it all. I love going to Melaka because of the historical buildings

Hop in before last call... The staff is humble and kind to take in order. The food was awesome especially the pepperoni pizza. Coffee does fit my taste and temperature is just right the moment it is served. Keep up the good work, I will be back for more whenever I come to Melaka!

The food was simply outstanding! This old cafe has a warm and welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

WHAT'S EVEN BETTER IS SHE ACCEPTED MY CONFESSION Regardless of the place: The place was aesthetically pleasing, giving the vibe of such a vintage cafe house. Ordered Fish and Chips and Lemon Tea was great, she enjoyed it too. Friendly staff with friendly emotions and tones.
